Location: Resupply Market 1597 Main St Dunedin, FL 34698

We are so fortunate to be able to grow gardens 12 months a year in Florida! This class is going to cover several different types of leafy greens that you can grow fresh at home in your gardens, or even in large pots on your patio.

This is an hour-long, in-person class that goes over about 15 different types of leafy greens and how they are best grown in our area. We'll go over the usual kales, lettuces, and collards, but we have a few surprises too. You'll leave saying "I didn't know we could eat that part too!"

Each participant will receive one 4-inch veggie plant, and a laminated seed planting chart for Central Florida.

Bio:
Amanda Streets is the owner of Living Roots Eco Design, which is a small business that specializes in helping people create useful landscapes. What could be more useful than growing food! She has lived in Florida for 20 years, growing and experimenting with different plants, growing methods and growing seasons. Amanda grew up on a farm with huge gardens, and now helps people grow substantial amounts of food in suburban spaces.

After the class, take advantage of an exclusive shopping session just for event attendees at Resupply Market and a Living Roots Eco Design Pop-up of veggie transplants! Please bring cash for the transplants.
