We are so fortunate to be able to grow gardens 12 months a year in Florida! This is an hour-long, in-person class that goes over everything you need to know about gardening in the spring in Florida. What to plant, what soil to use, and basic maintenance for success.  

Each participant will receive one 4-inch veggie plant and a laminated seed planting chart for Central Florida.

Bio:
Amanda Streets is the owner of Living Roots Eco Design, which is a small business that specializes in helping people create useful landscapes. What could be more useful than growing food! She has lived in Florida for 20 years, growing and experimenting with different plants, growing methods and growing seasons. Amanda grew up on a farm with huge gardens, and now helps people grow substantial amounts of food in suburban spaces. Amanda studied soil science with Dr. Elaine Ingham's Soil Foodweb School.
Plant sale after the class! We will be selling vegetable transplants, vegetable, herb, and flower seeds, native plants, & houseplants at the plant sale. Workshop participants get first dibs at the plant sale! 

Event Cost: $18 No physical ticket required. If you purchase this event via the website and pay for it, your space is reserved.

Please Note: This event has a minimum participant requirement of 4 and a maximum participant limit of 9. If event does not meet its minimum, you will be notified and fees paid will be refunded to you. If the event is full, please email contact@shopresupply.com to be added to the waitlist. We will notify you if a space opens up!

Refund Policy: Once you have registered, fees are non-refundable unless the event does not meet minimums. The only other exception is if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have been exposed to someone with symptoms of or a positive test of Covid-19. Requests for refunds MUST be submitted to contact@shopresupply.com prior to the event taking place.
